Shobha Govindan has worked with the firm since January 2013 as an estate planning paralegal. She analyzes and researches trust and estate issues, real estate issues and drafts Wills, Trusts, Health Care Proxies, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, Trustee Certificates, Homesteads, affidavits regarding title issues.
Her educational background and prior jobs were primarily in the field of the arts and design. She has published books of original designs in home décor and has been in business as an artist, specializing in oil paintings and unique hand painted furniture. Looking for a change in career, she attended Boston University and earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2011, where she gained knowledge of basic legal concepts, contracts and documents. She was trained in probate, real estate and family law as well as litigation and corporate law.
In her spare time, she continues her art work, helps in soup kitchens and is involved in other volunteer activities.
Quick to learn, Shobha is always willing to take on new projects. Her timeliness and attention to detail have made her an invaluable asset to the firm.
